International activist Catherine Constantinides: African leaders must unite to lift the injustice suffered by the Saharawi people.


GENEVA / SWITZERLAND: International activist Catherine Constantinides called on world leaders and African leaders, in particular, to unite in order to fight the injustice suffered by the Saharawi people for more than four decades since the occupation of the Western Sahara by the Kingdom of Morocco, resulting in the division of the Saharawi people into two parts, And the aggression of the Moroccan monarchy.

Mrs. Catherine pledged to make every effort to highlight the issue of Western Sahara and to raise awareness of the human rights violations and violations of human rights by Saharawi civilians. The activist in a statement singled out by the national media after her participation in the 36th session of the UN Human Rights Council appealed to the community to pay attention to the suffering of Sahrawi children in refugee camps, refusing to happen in Western Sahara or anywhere else in this world, and appealed in this context to the necessity to achieve justice and the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination as a means of ending this suffering

The international activist in the field of climate and human rights stressed the continuation of solidarity with the Saharawi people and their just struggle as an African believes that the African continent will not move forward if we do not resolve the grievances that occur across our continent.
